APHA 866107
1997 Solid Red Dun Gelding
Cooper is a nice gelding we bought two years ago. He has been hauled across the U.S. with us doing clinics and has been a real asset. Gentle and forgiving, yet strong and willing, this horse is currently in the two rein and coming along well. We have branded many calves on him, used him across the west on various big outfits in Nevada, and doctored lots of outside cattle. He will really run to cattle and is very solid to ty off to when doctoring. He is a durable partner and will go the distance, but does not require a tremendous amount of riding to stay gentle.
Price: $12,500

AQHA 4436003
2003 Buckskin Gelding
Trinity came from the Shamrock Ranch, Laytonville, CA and has been with us since 2004. We have offered him for sale before as an unstarted colt but decided to keep him and get him going. We are very glad we did, since he has turned out to be a nice young gelding with lots of promise. He has about 60 rides on him now and we are currently hauling him with us on our big summer clinic tour. Now in the hackamore, we have branded calves on him and used him outside on the ranches as well. He handles it famously and has a lot of presence doing it. With Docs Oak Sugar, Sun Frost and Doc’s Jack Frost on his papers, he is bred to perform. This gelding would be a good gelding for an intermediate rider who dreams of going on with a nice colt and making a finished bridle horse.
Price: $9,500

APHA 716231
2002 Bay/White Tobiano Gelding
Another Shamrock Ranch gelding, Boon came to us as a two year old. He has been ridden consistently by Dave Weaver ever since, covering lots of country, hauled to many clinics and many brandings. He is in the two rein and coming right along. Tall and stately, Boon is can really travel, yet is athletic enough to pick himself up and collect nicely. Boon is alot of horse in a good way and suitable for a knowledgeable intermediate rider. Attractively marked, this able gelding is going well. Out of a daughter of Boon Dox John and by Heza Major Bonanza.
Price: $10,000

AQHA 4454215
2003 Bay Roan Mare
We raised Pearl and she is a very nice young mare. She has had about 90 days riding, spread out over two years and has held together well after being turned out. She is very willing and athletic, but gentle minded. A strong, capable mare with gorgeous classic bay roan color. She is ready to go on with and could go many different ways. She has been used outside, gathering cattle and has some arena training as well. A nice combination of foundation, cow and race breeding.(Holey Doc Sox, Hancock, Moon Deck)

"Banks" has been immortalized by renowned pencil artist Karmel Timmons.
AQHA X0572514 (Appendix)
1999 Grey Gelding
We are very proud to finally offer another one of our great horses to the right buyer. “Banks” as he is affectionately known, has been a tremendous individual and is a joy to ride and know. He has been hauled thousands of miles to our clinics, where many of you have had the opportunity to see him perform. He has also done his time in the branding pen, doctoring cattle outside and in the “rodear”. He is an honest, athletic horse, happy to get out and do a job, elegant and distinguished in his movements and manuvuers. He has been ridden by Dave Weaver the last 4 years and has been brought along in the traditional disciplines; hackmore, two rein, bridle.
Now “straight up” in the bridle, he has grown into a worthy mount and a pleasure to own.
He is available to the appropriate home for $35,000. |
